dense fog warning
the sunshine of your smile
cuts through the haze
every weekday
parade of night-
piercing headlights
the morning commute

mailbox, early a.m.
bathrobe swishes
tie comes undone
more than just my nakedness
exposed
plea to my muse
awaken, life
awaken, lyrics
awaken, love
patience, grasshopper
he operates at just one speed
hustle not in his vocabulary
seems I am forever waiting
zillow nirvana
I want to live in a martin house
exits & entrances to so many new worlds,
high above the rattling fray below
and so, it starts to begin
fall is in the air
leaves to crunch
wonder to savor
we pull the trigger
new toy
big bucks
ahoy matey
now we wait
for spring
