A new poem of mine, The Fisherman, appears in today’s edition of BarBar Magazine, an online literary magazine. As always, I thank you for looking!
mother & dad close by, watching, worrying about their little one lost
puff of smoke-gray
tiny cheeps on the patio
baby cardinal
trying to find its way
recommitment
forgetfulness
my haiku daily ritual
wordsmith amnesia
keeping to the shadows
kissing bears
unbraided sweetgrass
skylane meadow

That’s not a date-typo in the title!
I was not aware that my poem, expedition, had been published last year on The Whisky Blot: A Literary Journal featuring “literature, poetry, and haiku”.
Somehow, I’d lost track of this one and because it’s a ‘fun favorite’ of mine, I hope you don’t mind my sharing it with you!
sometimes, family means nothing
their silence confirms it
I’ve been merely tolerated
for all these years
orange & dangerous
37 counts
a president’s betrayal
lock HIM up

My poem, a rhombus tango, appears in today’s edition of BarBar Magazine, an online literary magazine. I hope you’ll check it out. Thanks!
there’s lightning, too
sky shakes, rocks & rolls
heaven hammers its drums
puppy’s tail, downward position
my girlhood, my now
silent morning
streaky clouds, blue sky
daydreaming
