novice writer
begins her descent
into the certainty
of madness
pruning old wood
our weigelas
have lost their luster
robins, nice enough
but my eyes scan
for turkey vultures–
true heralds of spring!
warmth & sunshine today
tomorrow too
winter, though
still has ideas of her own
powder-blue skies
where will you take me today?
words on the page
peering into one’s heart
the writer’s dilemma
sunshine sparkles
vegetables sautéing
my winter kitchen
northwest wind—
stocking footed
on cold concrete
