green spreads its fingers,
twining through
springtime boughs
stained glass fibers
fabric board shimmers
new projects take shape
too early for
oriole oranges
& grape jelly?
crinkle! crunch!
my sewing machine
does not like
cheap thread
thai takeout—
who knew veggies
could taste so
good!
