Bill and I haven’t chatted about it too much just yet. Summer is winding down with fall fast on her heels! We’re going on little getaway the first week of October and after that we’ll start talking in earnest about travel plans in the next year or two. Stay tuned! π
Julie, this is wonderful! I really really love the picture, like the others said the composition is perfect and really, needles are also leaves! haha
These little pine cones remind me a lot of the autumn as I like to put them into bonfires in this cooler season π

Thank you. We bought a Canon 70D last fall, in part to upgrade to something new/nicer and also in part to supplement the 300D we bought years ago. One is outfitted with our new EFS 17-55 f/2.8 lens while the old DSLR sports our 75-300 telephoto lens. Husband has been ‘complaining’ about how I’ve highjacked the new camera so that day I ‘let’ him π use it while I played with the telephoto-mounted 300D. I had a lot of fun with it that day and while it doesn’t have the bells and whistles of the new 70D it apparently still takes some fairly decent shots.
