I think it’s such a mesmerizing shot because the brain wants to settle nice and comfy into the symmetry of the doors, but it gets jarred right back out of it by the offsetting colors. It really is a shot you can stare at all day. Nicely done 🙂
Thanks, Janet. Just something about the symmetry and yet there’s the contrast in the color of those doors. I also like the small chair on the left (with what looks like a folded, orange chair next to the foundation) offset by the short spikey cactus on the right!
I adore these doors. 😀
Thanks! They caught my eye while on a little getaway last weekend. There was just something about them…. 🙂

Thanks, Norm. I appreciate your thoughtful response!
Opposites attract!!! This is a great shot, love it! Your photo is calming yet jarring…
Wow. Interesting comment. Thanks for stopping by!! 🙂
Each door has it’s own personality – good find
They pretty much stopped me in my tracks when I saw them. 🙂 Thanks for looking!
Fantastic photo Julie, everything about it is just right!!!!! 🙂
Thanks, Andy. I appreciate that!
You’re welcome Julie 🙂
I agree with Norm. There’s a cognitive dissonance about this shot that makes it even more interesting.
