Thank you, Allan. The bench has a bit of an interesting history. When I was in middle school, my dad built a tavern that was located on our property. He built dozens of wooden benches for seating at the tables lining the large dance hall using the wood from his sawmill. Years later, Mom painted some of those benches and when she sold the property she gave the benches to us girls. As you can see, the one that I have is in dire need of some TLC! I’m thinking of giving it a chalk paint treatment for a bit of a vintage look. But for now, it sits just below our deck as a handy catch-all and a place to sit in the shade.
I like the soothing green background with these gardening implements, Julie.

Thanks for looking and for your comment!
Lots of history in the paint and the wood. I am not familiar with a chalk paint finish and look forward to seeing your results.
