I positively cringe, too, thinking about that year’s membership I had at the tanning salon in my 20’s. Laying out one sunny day, reading a magazine article about skin cancer, I looked up at the sun, went inside and never returned – halfway through the year – to the tanning bed.
Long-sleeved shirts, wide-brimmed hats and sunscreen comprise our future, Julie. That, and regular visits to the dermatologist.
