The last few days my stats have skyrocketed. Normally, yeah. A good thing. But I’m a bit suspicious.
I’m just showing a dramatic increase in the number of Views. There are NO correlating number of Likes or Comments. This happened a few years ago where I had a gazillion number of views of my photos.
Has anyone else experienced this? Is someone, perhaps, hacking me or otherwise acting in a nefarious manner?

Just a thought…sometimes when I ‘discover’ a new blog that interests me, I’ll check out older posts to get a feel for the blogger’s style. I don’t like to leave ten likes at a time, so that’s a situation where I’ll just read through the material.

WP stats are notoriously unreliable. Google analytics keeps more accurate and detailed statistics that you can use to compare. (PS- My hubby is a PhD statistician and I had him look at my stats years ago because they are so hinky.)
