I’ve been meaning to do this for years. Hubby hated the standing water, the mosquitoes, the whole look of this thing so I had him drill draining holes at the bottom and voila! Instant planter for this isolated area of our backyard.
Come on, sweet potato vines. Do your thing!!
And now Mr. Hedge Hog has a new home….

We’d had several storms move through the area during the overnight hours and after all the thunder and lightning and downpouring of much needed precipitation, this lone, little beauty beckoned outside our front door!
When I showed the photo to husband, his first response? “Oh. Nice shot of the truck!”
