the angle of the sun
matters to this lawn mower—

where do I begin?
serenade
grackle, sing to me
perched so high
atop our mighty oak!
splash
jaunty jelly
jostlers—
orange jamboree
purple passions
lilac bushes
draped in mist
the scent of spring
it was so worth getting out of bed at 4 am…
Then it slithered away into the thick darkness of my purple coneflowers…
lying in the grass
beneath a blue-sky sun
I try not to remember
last summer’s bull snake
May Love
christening the new grill
pork chops & asparagus
planting flowers for dessert
there is beauty in the world, we just have to look for it
petals of cornflower blue
push aside autumn’s debris
a young child signals her delight
