the real deal
robins, nice enough
but my eyes scan
for turkey vultures–
true heralds of spring!
gleanings of a northern life lived
warmth & sunshine today
tomorrow too
winter, though
still has ideas of her own
spring-dreaming
powder-blue skies
where will you take me today?
stories & prose
words on the page
peering into one’s heart
the writer’s dilemma
chicken soup
sunshine sparkles
vegetables sautéing
my winter kitchen
letting puppy out at 2 AM
northwest wind—
stocking footed
on cold concrete
yet another
selfishly thoughtless
or cruelly evil—
a bullet always
disregards intent
my valentine
yellow-heavy bouquet
punctuated with pink
husband delivers
revisioned history with postscript
toxic sisters
still, I take
I no longer take
their calls

p.s. my gorgeous peace of mind…
