Thanks, Allan. It is. My favorite bridge to photograph, although in deep summer it’s one where you need bug spray as it’s in a low area which is quite swampy and the mosquito population is massive!!
I love these old trestle bridges, I think that’s what they’re called anyway. And right now, with the trees just starting to bud out everything is more open and fresh and, well, delightful!!
Thanks, Julie. It feels good to be blogging again too and I’m trying to devote more brain cells to writing again. I love my camera – for sure! – but writing is the reason I started my blog in the first place. It’s unfortunate that most people (guilty as charged as well but I do try to READ others’ posts!) are more drawn to the photos than the written word. I’ve participated in the Daily Prompts now a couple of times (and posted a few other items) that came from a place deep within so in some ways it’s disheartening to not have that acknowledged by anyone but then again, I write for ME! Nod. As it should be, I guess. 🙂
