another school year begins

My first attempt at writing a sonnet, sin & retribution, appears in the 2023 August Issue of The Minison Project: Shakespeare’s Sonnet Reimagined.
You can find it by clicking on the icon for Issue 19, Mythological Minison Vol. 3, which is available here.
My poem can be found on page 12 of the PDF. Please check it out and I hope you’ll like it!

Whether I’m writing in my journal, which I do every day, or composing a post for my blog or putting my thoughts down on paper (real or virtual) to create either prose or poetry, I enjoy getting the gunk out of my head so that I can revisit, revise or – at times! – revile what I’ve written. What I enjoy most about writing is the satisfaction of having expressed myself as fully as I’m able to, to feel pretty much terrific when I’ve arrived at the phrasing, the language, the tone that beautifully – to me! – articulates what it is I want the world to know, even if – sometimes especially if – no one but me will ever read it.
