Wordless Wednesday

B&W is my favorite form of photography. (My father-in-law gets minorly annoyed when it comes to black and white pictures. He doesn’t understand why anyone would want them to be in anything but color!!)
Here’s my contribution to this week’s Monochrome Madness theme!

Today’s number, per Judy’s fabulous challenge, is 183. I didn’t have much to work with this time around but, well, here we go!

Per my weather app, 2.4″ of the lovely white stuff has descended upon us in the last six hours with an additional accumulation of three to four inches in the next twenty-four.
We’ve been living in a November landscape all winter. There were two minor snowfalls in December, I believe, but they didn’t last long, melted quickly, leaving us with nothing to look at outside our windows but a dull, dreary, brown terrain. More snow is forecast later this week and early the next.
We need the precipitation and I’m so happy it’s come at last!
Photos aren’t the best but, well, you get the picture…

My contribution’s for Leanne’ Monochrome Madness #26, the Letter T.
I found Leann’s preamble to this challenge quite fascinating for a number of reasons that I won’t go into here. Suffice it to say, I wish our culture here resembled that of Australia’s.
Here’s my (short) take on this week’s Monochrome Madness ~

I don’t usually post my quilting projects. Well, at first, I guess I did but, in any case, I just haven’t done it much lately. Anyway, I did want to share this one which I started nearly a year ago. I’ve worked on it, off and on, throughout the year and finally finished it this afternoon.
Its design is called the Carpenter Star, and it measures 82×82. I’m very pleased with how it turned out. This one was a beast to work on and I’m so glad it’s done!! Now to focus on poetry again for a little while before I start another quilt project anytime soon. At least that’s the plan!!
