Is there anything more exhilarating than golfing on a beautiful fall day and to then encounter some of the magnificent horses that pasture alongside the golf course where we live? If I ever win big at the lottery, a huge spread with a few horses to call my own (AND a personal riding instructor) will certainly be at the top of the list!

may god bless you with that!!
We’re fortunate to live in such a beautiful area. The horses are amazing. They usually pasture in an adjoining paddock so we don’t see them very often. These photos were actually taken two years ago. Haven’t seen them all summer. They normally graze in ‘our’ paddock in the fall so fingers crossed!
Thank you for your comment!
How really lovely! The ‘hay burners’ are a good looking crowd! I never got the hang of golf though husband #1 was a very good player. The horses were always my passion. Oh to hit the lottery…
Thanks Martha!
Yes, LOVE living on the course and that it’s adjoined by a horse farm. When we first moved here I was told Charleton Heston had a horse kept there. Urban legend? Perhaps. All I know is these 4-legged creatures are simply stunning!
Great pics .. Sounds like a good plan 🙂
