Actions (inactions, too)
Yield consequences
Don’t you tire (yet) of having to pay
The price for non-sound judgments?
Saying nothing
Letting you make your own choices
With continued dour results:
Bone-wearying.
Futures depend on thinking
And doing right
Wild, tangential arrows
Target excitement and thrills
Stable foundations, not so much.
Oh, but what do I know?

Another notch for my WIAT journal
“What I Accomplished Today”
The small basket under the sink
(Where the coffee grounds and banana peels go)
I remove the plastic liner
Use it to collect the contents
From other receptacles
Going room to room.
A tidy sack, knotted tightly
Then stuffed into the ‘big’ bag
Refuse ruminations nearly completed
I carry the Grand Prize to the large bin
Roll it out to the curb
And never give it another thought.
